Ed e Lorraine Warren: Il caso che mi lascia più perplesso
Amici so che tutti voi conoscete Ed e Lorraine Warren e la loro fama, ma forse questo caso lascerà perplessi anche i più credenti… Si tratta di uno dei casi più insoliti dei due, questa indagine portò i Warren fuori dagli Stati Uniti in una città dell’Essex, in Inghilterra, dove indagarono sul caso di Bill Ramsey, un uomo che si credeva essere posseduto da un demone o un entità, se preferite, che si manifestava come un lupo. Questa sua “possessione” iniziò quando il ragazzo aveva circa 9 anni.
Secondo quanto riferito, mentre giocava fuori nel suo cortile, Ramsey sentì un freddo gelido e le sue narici furono sopraffatte da una puzza terribile e subito dopo inizio a percepire una rabbia disumana in se che lo spinse a sradicare una palizzata e rosicchiare il suo reticolato. Ramsey diventato adulto è diventato un marito amorevole e padre di tre figli e non ha avuto incidenti fino agli anni ’60.
I primi anni del suo matrimonio furono tormentati da incubi, sudori freddi e risvegli con indumenti lacerati come da un animale selvatico. Negli anni ’80, Bill si sentiva ripetutamente sopraffatto dalle sensazioni che aveva avuto da bambino tanto da finire con attaccare fisicamente un suo amico come se si sentisse una bestia feroce…
Fu in questo momento che intervennero i Warren che si dice esorcizzarono l’uomo cercando di cacciare il demone … L’esorcismo fu condotto è vero ed il demone pare scacciato, ma l’uomo fu rinchiuso in un istituto di igiene mentale dal momento che costituiva un pericolo per se stesso e per gli altri, e allora di che si trattava? Vera possessione oppure un caso eccellente di malattia mentale, non diagnosticata e fatta passare per possessione demoniaca? Se fosse stato un caso di possessione dopo l’esorcismo non sarebbe tornato normale?
Ora ditemi che ne pensate, perché i Warren al tempo dichiararono che si sarebbe trattato di un Demone che si comportava da Lupo negando la patologia medica. Dei Warren ho sempre pensato che siano stati prima di tutto degli abili personaggi e se non lo dicessi sarei un ipocrita, capaci di creare un impero mediatico attorno al loro mito, quindi questa loro sconfitta aggiunge dubbio ai miei pensieri…
Sono quindi molto perplesso su questo caso, e vorrei davvero un vostro parere, perché se da un lato ho avuto modo di parlare con persone che mi hanno spiegato che spesso, queste entità, si presentano proprio sotto forma di Lupo, è anche vero che allora l’esorcismo non ha avuto in questo caso alcun risultato. E’ possibile che questi eventi avvelenino la mente umana fino a renderla irrecuperabile?
