Un castello infestato e maledetto: Il Castello di Miramare
Amici lettori oggi scopriremo insieme un luogo meraviglioso maledetto dalla sua proprietaria a causa di un destino infausto… Il Castello di Miramare si trova sulla punta del promontorio di Grignano, a Trieste, realizzato per volere di Ferdinando Massimiliano d’Asburgo come nido d’amore per lui e la sua sposa Charlotte del Belgio.
La sorte volle che Ferdinando accettasse l’incarico di regnante del Messico che portò l’uomo ad essere barbaramente ucciso… Charlotte a causa del terribile lutto che la colpì così giovane ed innamorata non riuscì a continuare a vivere al suo interno e decise di spostare la sua residenza nella dependance sulla stessa proprietà, struttura questa che era stata realizzata delle stesse forme del castello principale scimmiottandone l’aspetto in scala ridotta.
Si dice che la donna uscì del tutto di senno e lanciò una maledizione sul castello: Chiunque si arrischierà a soggiornare nel castello incapperà nella sventura e nella morte…
Sappiamo che spesso i luoghi con una lunga storia hanno delle leggende legate a fatti tragici ma in questo caso qualcosa di vero deve esserci dal momento che molti dei suoi occupanti successivi trovarono la morte in modo tragico, spesso fucilati come il caso di Friedrich Rainer, che vi abito’ durante l’ultima guerra e fu fucilato dai partigiani, sorte estremamente simile a quella di Ferdinando Massimiliano d’Asburgo.
Oltre alla maledizione sono molte le testimonianze che riportano di uno spettro femminile che si aggira per il castello… Forse Charlotte si assicura di proseguire la sua opera come una triste mietitrice.
