Luogo infestato: Gli spettri del Big Bull Tunnel
Amici la leggenda che vi sto per raccontare è ambientata in Virginia in un Tunnel lungo la linea ferroviaria di Norfolk noto con il nome di Big Bull Tunnel. La storia arrivò al grande pubblico a seguito di alcuni articoli apparsi su un giornale locale nell’agosto del 1905 e successivamente nel 1906, articolo in cui si faceva menzione di alcuni eventi paranormali riportate da un gruppo di passeggeri del treno. Da quanto riportato sui giornali pare che anche i locali fossero disturbati da strani fenomeni che includevano strani gemiti di dolore e dei suoni raccapriccianti… Alcuni testimoni dichiararono di aver sentito una voce proveniente dal tunnel che diceva: “Stanno bevendo il mio sangue”.
Furono effettuate delle indagini che non portarono a nulla ne in un senso ne nell’altro, ma è noto che in questo luogo persero la vita alcune persone, una gettata dal treno in corsa proprio nel tunnel mentre di un altro si sa il nome, pare si chiamasse Robert Lemon e che fosse un ingegnere ferroviario che finì con il cranio sfondato in non si sa bene che incidente, ma a dire il vero potrebbe essersi trattato di un omicidio…
Insomma le storie lugubri non mancano, chiaramente siamo nel campo delle dicerie, ciò nonostante è una storia molto curiosa e se avessi la possibilità di visitare questo tunnel lo farei senza pensarci due volte.

Investigations were carried out that led to nothing in one sense or another, but it is known that in this place some people lost their lives, one thrown from the train running right in the tunnel while another name is known, it seems it was called Robert Lemon and he was a railway engineer, it seems he ended up with his skull broken down in it is not clear that accident, but to tell the truth it could have been a homicide …
In short, the gloomy stories are not lacking, but from here to blindly believe the legends told there runs, nevertheless it is a very curious story and if I had the opportunity to visit this tunnel I would do it without thinking twice.
