I fantasmi della taverna Mazi fanno chiudere il ristorante
Amici oggi vi racconto un fatto davvero insolito che è capitato a Seattle a spese di un ristoratore che si è visto costretto a chiudere la sua attività. Si tratta della Taverna Mazi, un ristorantino di cucina tipica greca sito al confine con un cimitero e con una caratteristica piuttosto insolita…
La leggenda legata all’edificio parla di due donne che sarebbero state segregate ed uccise nel sottotetto del locale molti decenni prima che questo diventasse un ristorante e, da quanto si dice, gli spiriti delle due sventurate continuano a vivere all’interno del locale. Durante il periodo di attività i dipendenti sfruttavano le dicerie a proprio vantaggio compiendo dei veri e propri tour del paranormale e irritando sempre di più le entità. I fatti in questione sono stati resi noti durante una nota trasmissione televisiva nota come “Mystery Diners” durante la quale sono state registrate delle prove audio (in vero molto poco affidabili) ed è stata contattata una medium per cercare di capire il motivo per cui i dipendenti finivano sempre con dimettersi (anche in questo caso non mi esprimo).
Per quanto possa sembrare assurdo il titolare ha deciso di chiudere l’attività per poi aprire un nuovo ristorante altrove a causa dei fenomeni paranormali che erano diventati davvero fastidiosi. Ora so che tutto sembra essere la solita buffonata e che si cerca di attribuire a dei fantasmi un pessimo risultato imprenditoriale, eppure dalle recensioni che ho trovato sia su Yelp che TripAdvisor non ho avuto l’idea di un posto dove si mangiasse male, anzi, i voti erano piuttosto buoni sfiorando il massimo… Allora cosa è successo? Possibile che gli spiriti abbiano realmente reso invivibile il posto di lavoro?

The legend linked to the building speaks of two women who would have been segregated and killed in the attic of the room many decades before it became a restaurant and, as they say, the spirits of the two unfortunates continue to live inside the room. During the period of activity, employees exploited the rumors to their advantage by making real tours of the paranormal and irritating more and more entities. The facts in question were made known during a well-known television broadcast known as “Mystery Diners” during which audio tests were recorded (actually very unreliable) and a medium was contacted to try to understand why employees always ended up with resigning.
As it may seem absurd the owner decided to close the business and then open a new restaurant elsewhere because of the paranormal phenomena that had become really annoying. Now I know that everything seems to be the usual antics and that you try to attribute to ghosts a bad business result, and yet from the reviews I found both on Yelp and TripAdvisor I did not have the idea of a place where you eat badly, in fact, the votes were pretty good touching the maximum … So what happened? Is it possible that the spirits have really made the workplace uninhabitable?
