Cosa è diventata Lilith dopo aver lasciato l’Eden

Ora sappiamo che era stata creata da Dio per essere la compagna di Adamo, ma lei, orgogliosa e per niente remissiva, si rifiutò decidendo di abbandonare l’Eden decretando la sua salvezza in quanto grazie al suo abbandono rimase eterna e potente. Lilith è considerata ormai da tutti come il primo Demone, e la madre dei successivi che sarebbero venuti. La parola Demone ha assunto una connotazione negativa data per lo più dalla religione, ma in effetti il significato letterale è “Essere Divino”, quindi una creatura di origini divine superiore alle altre, mai stata umana. In effetti a ben vedere tutti gli angeli e gli arcangeli sono inquadrabili in questa categoria, ma allora cosa rende diversi quelli che chiamiamo con disprezzo Demoni? A renderli tali è il fatto che si siano ribellati alla volontà di Dio.

Lilith è stata la prima ed ha intrapreso la strada che l’ha portata ad essere il Demone della tempesta, della malattia e della morte, un essere estremamente pericoloso quindi. Sappiamo dalle antiche scritture mesopotamiche che dopo aver abbandonato l’Eden si unì ad Enlil che per i Sumeri era considerato il “signore di tutte le terre”, va da sé che i figli di Lilith ed Enlil debbano essere considerati a tutti gli effetti i Demoni di cui parla la religione Cristiana.
