La maledizione della Haven: Il relitto ligure che miete vittime
Amici ho una tale passione per le leggende marinare che non so spiegare… Questa notizia non è poi così nuova, ma merita di essere citata nel mio blog perché le vittime ormai sono arrivate a sei.
Tutto ha avuto inizio nel 2015 con la prima morte, che è stata seguita da altre cinque con l’ultima vittima e da ben sette altri sub che fortunatamente sono riusciti a salvarsi. La Haven è una petroliera affondata nei pressi delle coste liguri nel 1991 e precisamente al largo della costa di Arenzano (Genova).
Come ben sappiamo i relitti sono una calamita per i sub che non si lasciano scappare l’occasione di visitarli e segnare una tacca tra le proprie esperienze. Si può dire che sia una sorta di Urbex subacqueo che, a differenza di quello tradizionale, comporta tutta una serie di rischi non calcolabili.
L’ultima vittima è una signora che non è riuscita a risalire in superficie, forse a causa un malore. Non credo si possa parlare di vera e propria maledizione in questi casi perché, dal mio punto di vista si tratta di situazioni esposte a troppi rischi. Il mare non è il nostro elemento e ci mette in una condizione precaria e quando le cose vanno bene è per puro caso.
Credo che tutti i relitti abbiano delle storie simili, perché la loro stessa condizione di relitto posto in profondità crea i presupposti perché accadano questi fatti terribili… Vi propongo il video realizzato da dei professionisti
The curse of Haven: The Ligurian wreck that reaped victims
Friends I have such a passion for seafaring legends that I can not explain … This news is not so new, but deserves to be mentioned in my blog because the victims have now reached six.
It all started in 2015 with the first death, which was followed by five others with the last victim and by seven other divers who fortunately managed to save themselves. The Haven is a sunken oil tanker near the Ligurian coast in 1991 and precisely off the coast of Arenzano (Genoa).
As we all know the wrecks are a magnet for divers who do not miss the opportunity to visit them and mark a notch in their experiences. It can be said that it is a sort of underwater Urbex that, unlike the traditional one, involves a whole series of non-calculable risks.
The last victim is a lady who has not been able to climb to the surface, perhaps due to illness. I do not think we can speak of a real curse in these cases because, from my point of view, these are situations exposed to too many risks. The sea is not our element and puts us in a precarious condition and when things go well it is by chance.
I believe that all the wrecks have similar stories, because their very condition of wreck lying deep creates the conditions for these terrible events to happen …
