Ex Colonia Devoto: E’ davvero infestata dalle anime dei pazienti?
Amici oggi vi racconto la storia di un luogo dimenticato che si dice sia infestato da numerosi spiriti: Colonia Devoto.
A circa 40 chilometri da Genova, in uno scenario da fiaba, sorge una struttura di epoca fascista chiamata Colonia Devoto. Avvicinandosi nelle giornate nebbiose sembra venir fuori dal nulla e ci offre un paesaggio spettrale che ricorda da vicino le case stregate che abbiamo osservato in tanti film. Fu Antonio Devoto, un filantropo lavagnese a volerne la costruzione grazie a dei finanziamenti personali e lo fece seguendo delle strane indicazioni…
La struttura doveva avere 5 piani e 365 finestre, una per ogni giorno dell’anno, e volle che fosse edificata in mezzo ai boschi lungo le pendici del Monte Zatta. Con certezza non si sa il perché di queste caratteristiche, ma se ci pensiamo bene, fa pensare ad altre celebri case come ad esempio la Winchester Mistery House, che guarda caso hanno legato il loro nome allo spiritismo.
All’inizio lo stabile fu una colonia per bambini e parliamo degli anni che vanno dal 1940 al 1960, successivamente fu abbandonata e solo dopo qualche tempo destinata a casa di cura per tossicodipendenti. Probabilmente la leggenda degli spiriti iniziò a circolare proprio allora e non mi sento di escludere che siano stati proprio i pazienti a metterla in giro considerando che a causa della loro condizione erano certamente soggetti a visioni ed allucinazioni. Ad aumentare le leggende il suicidio di un custode, che forse stressato dalla dura vita all’interno, aveva deciso di porre fine alla sua vita… Certo relegare il tutto a questo non sarebbe corretto perché negli anni sono stati numerosi i team di ricerca del paranormale che si sono impegnati nello studio della colonia.

It was Antonio Devoto, a Lavagnese philanthropist who wanted to build it thanks to some personal loans and he did it following some strange indications …
The structure had to have 5 floors and 365 windows, one for each day of the year, and wanted it to be built in the middle of the woods along the slopes of Mount Zatta. With certainty we do not know the reason for these characteristics, but if we think about it, think of other famous houses such as the Winchester Mystery House, which coincidentally have linked their name to spiritualism.
At the beginning the building was a colony for children and we talk about the years ranging from 1940 to 1960, afterwards it was abandoned and only after some time destined to nursing home for drug addicts. Probably the legend of the spirits began to circulate just then and I can not rule out that it was the patients themselves who put it around considering that because of their condition they were certainly subject to visions and hallucinations. To increase the legends the suicide of a caretaker, who perhaps stressed by the hard life inside, had decided to end his life … Sure to relegate everything to this would not be correct because over the years there have been numerous research teams of the paranormal who engaged in the study of the colony.
