Un essere infido ed antico: Il Demone del suicidio
Caro Amico oggi ti racconterò la leggenda di una creatura infida e malvagia: Il Demone del Suicidio.
Come certo saprai, nella religione cattolica, il suicidio è considerato un peccato capace di precludere l’accesso al paradiso dal momento che solo Dio può decidere quando sia arrivato il nostro momento; nella tradizione , ma più che altro nelle leggende riportate oralmente si parla di creature che non tengono in considerazione questa regola e cercano di carpire la nostra anima con l’inganno, insinuandosi nella nostra mente, spingendoci giù nel baratro della disperazione per farci compiere l’insano gesto.
Ma allora ti chiederai perché non ci uccido semplicemente, la risposta data dalla fede cattolica è semplice: Il Libero Arbitrio. Sembra sia una regola universale alla quale nemmeno il Diavolo Cristiano può sottrarsi, certo potrebbe farci fuori senza fatica ma uccidendoci perderebbe i diritti sulla nostra anima che inesorabilmente finirebbe a Dio. Allora come si comporta? Manda un suo subordinato e lo fa stare attorno a chi si trova in una fase difficile della vita, gli bisbiglia continuamente che la soluzione è solo una e cioè farla finita. Aspetta il momento più opportuno, solitamente la notte, quando il silenzio ha il sopravvento sulla vita frenetica ed i pensieri sono amplificati, diventa una voce che si riesce quasi a sentire, martellante ed ossessiva capace di piegare le menti più fragili.
Vi ricorda qualcosa? Beh se lo fa è perché si tratta di una patologia piuttosto diffusa, specie in questi tempi così difficili, si tratta della depressione, qualcosa che in effetti è simile al concetto di Demone cristiano, ma un Demone che è dentro di noi e che può essere sconfitto.
Questo essere malvagio è un concetto filosofico, esiste nelle nostre menti quando siamo più fragili e, esattamente come si dice faccia il Diavolo, fa si che di lui non si parli, non gli è stato dato un nome dagli esorcisti, ossia “Demonio del Suicidio”, se hai mai provato questa sensazione sai che la voce la senti, sembra venga dalla tua testa perché è così. Solo una cosa può allontanare questa “creatura diabolica” ed è La Speranza. Il sentimento più potente dopo l’Amore, capace di salvarci con una forza che niente può piegare.
A treacherous and ancient being: the Demon of suicide

Wait for the most opportune moment, usually at night, when silence prevails over frenetic life and thoughts are amplified, it becomes a voice that you can almost hear, pounding and obsessive able to bend the most fragile minds.
Do you remember something? Well if you do it is because it is a rather common pathology, especially in these difficult times, it is depression, something that is actually similar to the concept of Christian Demon, but a Demon that is within us and that can be beaten.
This evil being is a philosophical concept, it exists in our minds when we are more fragile and, just as the Devil says, makes it impossible for him to speak, he has not been given a name by the exorcists, that is “Demon of Suicide” “If you’ve ever had this feeling, you know that your voice is heard, it seems to come from your head because it is so. Only one thing can ward off this “diabolic creature” and it is Hope. The most powerful feeling after Love, able to save us with a strength that nothing can bend.
