Baphomet (puramente a scopo iconografico)

Syria: The temple dedicated to the Devil

Dear friends today we will deal with a thorny and weird topic … Let’s talk about religion and cults but focusing on the less known cult structures.

I have always worked on paranormal and rarely happen to come across absolute novelties, but this time I was quite impressed by this discovery of mine. As you know, the Temples dedicated to the deities are universally widespread and are dedicated to any existing God or Saint, yet there is one that leaves you speechless …

TEMPLE OF BAAL

It is a structure that has a dating of about 5000 years, is located in Syria and is dedicated to the Devil. Yes, because the one we are used to is clear Diavolo has different origins from those we think; originally it was Baal, an ancient God of Phoenician origin who became Belzebù (The Lord of the Flies) with the passing of the centuries …

God Baal

“Baal (or Ba’al, from the accidental” bēlu “: sir, master, owner) is one of the main deities of Phoenician mythology, can be considered the central figure of the religious world of ancient Ugarit. Testament the name was inherited to indicate a synonym of god, and, only around the fourteenth century BC, passed to indicate the major gods and the lord of the universe, and then later as a false god. With the transition to Judaic monotheism, was therefore indicated with a material statuette, symbol of man’s idolatry of the false gods. ” -wikipedia

Temple of Baal

Unfortunately, human idiocy does not know equals and this magnificent and historical structure has been irreparably compromised by the ISIS militants … But although ruined it remains historically in the images and memories of those who have documented its magnificence.

Baphomet (purely for iconographic purposes)

From the Bible: “Acacia fell from the upstairs window into Samaria and was hurt. Then he sent messengers with this order: “Go and question Baal-Zebub, god of Ekròn, to know if I will recover from this infirmity”

Baal means “Lord” and the combination “Baal-Zebub” stands for healing lord, then became for some strange reason “Lord of the flies” and merged with the Baal God that perhaps nothing had anything to do with him … As you see in the beginning Beelzebub it was far from negative and would not be confused with the Devil we mean today.
