Santa Brigida: La santa che compare nei sogni a preannunciare la morte
Amici, questa è una ricerca che ho fatto molto volentieri su richiesta da un’amica. Non sono mai stato un credente praticante, ho una mia visione della religione ed un rapporto diretto con quello che credo essere Dio, ma molte storie legate a questo ambiente hanno dei riscontri interessanti.
Santa Brigida non è molto diversa da qualunque altro santo presente sui nostri calendari, nata nel 1303 da famiglia molto agiata cambia la sua vita liberandosi dei beni materiali e fonda un ordine religioso senza, per altro, mai farsi monaca. Insomma fin qui tutto estremamente in linea con chiunque altro nella sua stessa condizione di futuro santo, fatta eccezione del non essere monaca.
Si dice però che chi sia devoto a Santa Brigida riceva un regalo, se così vogliamo definirlo, ossia la predizione della sua morte tre giorni prima che accada. La mia amica ha potuto constatare questa forma di predizione grazie alla testimonianza di sua parente stretta, che, devotissima a Santa Barbara, tre giorni prima di morire aveva avvisato tutti che sarebbe successo grazie alla premonizione, trovando poi la conferma tre giorni dopo.
Si, lo so che appare strano, ma, incuriosito, ho fatto una ricerca trovando diverse testimonianze che descrivono la stessa identica situazione. Le devote ricevono in sogno la visita della Santa che preannuncia la dipartita permettendo di sistemare qualcosa in sospeso…
Tutte le storie seguono un iter preciso, si tratta di devoti che pregano la Santa, ricevono il sogno premonitore, continuano a comportarsi normalmente per i tre giorni a seguire tranne che, al terzo giorno, prepararsi con l’abito scelto e adagiarsi sul letto in attesa del triste evento che poi arriva puntuale.
Se non trovate sia misteriosa questa cosa non so cosa possa esserlo… E’ possibile che si tratti di un qualcosa di indotto? Ossia che le persone devote sappiano questa cosa e che quindi percepiscano la morte a prescindere dallo strano miracolo? Ricordo che una mia zia sentiva che il giorno stava arrivando e non era devota, anzi decisamente atea… Una cosa è certa, ci sono molti misteri ancora da svelare e tante cose che non comprendiamo…

All stories follow a precise process, they are devotees who pray to the saint, receive the premonitory dream, continue to behave normally for the three days to follow except that, on the third day, prepare with the chosen dress and lay down on the bed in waiting for the sad event which then arrives on time.
If you do not find it mysterious this thing I do not know what it could be … Is it possible that it is something induced? That is, that the devout people know this thing and therefore perceive death regardless of the strange miracle?
