Perché associamo la ricerca degli spiriti alla notte?
Amici eccoci ad una curiosità che mi è venuta qualche giorno fa… Io come certo sapete ho a che fare con molti gruppi che si occupano di ricerca sul campo e la maggior parte di loro, come potete aver sperimentato anche nelle serie TV dedicate al paranormale, opera durante la notte o comunque nel buio più totale… Perché?
Una mia ipotesi è che le apparecchiature ad infrarossi ed i rilevatori di campi elettromagnetici diano il meglio al buio e che giochi un ruolo chiave la minore attività che disturberebbe, ma credo che il motivo sia anche un altro, un motivo culturale. Nella nostra idea comune associamo il mistero alla mancanza di luce e quindi si tende a proporre al pubblico quel che si aspetta oltre al fatto che anche i cacciatori sono involontariamente influenzati dal senso comune…
Per quale motivo mi chiedo, uno spirito dovrebbe palesarsi solo la notte? Dove andrebbero a stare durante il giorno? Non sarà che il nostro ideale di fantasmi sia influenzato dalla cultura derivante dai racconti di vampiri e lupi mannari ed affini? Io ho avuto diverse esperienze con uomini ombra e le ho avute in pieno giorno, perché in effetti durante la notte non me ne sarei mai potuto accorgere dal momento che l’assenza di luce avrebbe reso le ombre invisibili.

One hypothesis is that infrared equipment and detectors of electromagnetic fields give the best in the dark and that the less disturbing activity plays a key role, but I think the reason is also another, a cultural reason. In our common idea we associate mystery with the lack of light and therefore we tend to propose to the public what is expected besides the fact that even hunters are unintentionally influenced by common sense …
Why do I ask myself, should a spirit only come out at night? Where would they go during the day? It will not be that our ideal of ghosts is influenced by the culture deriving from the tales of vampires and werewolves and allies? I have had several experiences with shadow men and I had them in the middle of the day, because in fact during the night I would never have realized it since the absence of light would have made the shadows invisible.
