Gli animali hanno un’anima o spirito come noi?

Amici eccoci ad un argomento molto interessante e con tanti sostenitori: Gli animali hanno un anima? Nel corso degli ultimi decenni ho sentito le più disparate teorie da parte di credenti, amanti degli animali, uomini e donne di fede, ognuno dice la sua ed io in questo caso mi schiero apertamente in una direzione.

Ricordo diverso tempo fa una polemica sul fatto che la chiesa non associ agli animali il concetto di spirito eterno  e posso anche capire il loro punto di vista… Loro partono dal fatto che nelle scritture si parli degli animali come cibo ed è quindi incompatibile con la loro fede affermare che si stia uccidendo qualche creatura dotata di anima, ma io penso si sbaglino, come si sbagliano per tante altre cose.

Far combaciare le teorie per adattarle al proprio credo è quanto di più sbagliato si possa fare, tutto dovrebbe essere vagliato con attenzione e raziocinio ma di fatto non accade mai. Io per primo sarei un ipocrita se affermassi di avere delle prove certe del mio credo, ma proprio per questa mia incertezza ascolto le ipotesi altrui e le analizzo. Nel caso degli animali sono sicuro che sia più logico che siano dotati di anima perché parto dal presupposto che tutti gli esseri viventi ne siano dotati, uomini, animali e piante, l’uomo è un animale e se ha una sua energia “spirituale” allora la hanno tutti gli esseri simili. Oltre a questo non è raro sentire delle testimonianze di animali “fantasma” che per me sono esattamente quello che sembrano, ossia ciò che resta dopo la morte di un esserino diverso da noi.

Ora mi direte che nella tradizione esoterica spesso e volentieri le apparizioni di questo tipo sono associate ad esseri malvagi e può anche starci, ma una cosa non esclude l’altra… Insomma qui a differenza di altri casi non ho intenzione di cambiare punto di vista, per me gli animali hanno un anima e dico di più, se la meritano più dell’uomo.

Aggiungo solo questo, animale deriva dal latino “anima anima”, affine al greco anemos vento, soffio e al sanscrito ātman col medesimo significato… Forse i nostri avi erano semplicemente più saggi di noi.

I remember a long time ago a controversy about the fact that the church does not associate with animals the concept of eternal spirit and I can also understand their point of view … They start from the fact that in the scriptures we talk about animals as food and is therefore incompatible with their faith to say that killing some creature with a soul, but I think they are wrong, as they are wrong for many other things.

Matching theories to fit your beliefs is the most wrong you can do, everything should be carefully and reasonably considered, but in fact it never happens. First of all I would be a hypocrite if I said I had certain proof of my belief, but because of my uncertainty I listen to other people’s hypotheses and analyze them. In the case of animals I am sure that it is more logical that they have a soul because I assume that all living beings are endowed with it, men, animals and plants, man is an animal and if he has his “spiritual” energy then they all have similar beings. In addition to this it is not rare to hear evidence of “phantom” animals that for me are exactly what they seem, that is what remains after the death of a different creature from us.

Now you will tell me that in the esoteric tradition, often the apparitions of this type are associated with evil beings and may even be there, but one thing does not exclude the other … So here unlike other cases I’m not going to change point of seen, for me the animals have a soul and I say more, they deserve it more than man.

I add only this, animal comes from the Latin “anima anima”, similar to the Greek wind anemos, breath and the Sanskrit ātman with the same meaning … Perhaps our ancestors were simply wiser than us.
