Buon Halloween a tutti voi
Amici con questo post non vi racconterò niente di spaventoso e (incredibile dictu) mi limiterò ad augurarvi di trascorrere in modo divertente la vigilia di Ognissanti… In ogni parte del mondo oggi (31 ottobre) si festeggia la nota ricorrenza che chiamiamo Halloween, non si tratta di nulla di malvagio, oggi è diventata più una festa per i bambini che per gli adulti e credo che questa connotazione sia piacevole.
Spero che gli spiriti, come si racconta nella tradizione, possano scendere tra noi e divertirsi come facevano in vita celati dalle numerose maschere… In Sardegna si è sempre celebrata questa festività che veniva chiamata la festa delle “Animeddas”, proprio come accade nella più famosa ricorrenza americana, anche nei villaggi della Sardegna sono i bambini che vestiti da fantasmi vanno a chiedere, di porta in porta, qualche dono per le “piccole anime”.
Inoltre una delle usanze che più amo della mia terra è quella di preparare la notte del 31 ottobre una cena sontuosa, apparecchiare la tavola e lasciare tutta la notte queste cibarie per i defunti che secondo tradizione verrebbero a cibarsene in modo metaforico. Il giorno successivo il pasto veniva consumato dai famigliari e si brindava alla memoria dei cari estinti; una sorta di culto degli antenati che trovo molto bello.

Friends with this post will not tell you anything scary and (incredible dictu) I will only wish you to spend the Eve of Ognissanti fun … In every part of the world today (October 31) is celebrating the famous anniversary we call Halloween, it is not nothing evil, today it has become more a party for children than for adults and I believe this connotation is pleasing.
I hope that the spirits, as they are told in the tradition, may fall between us and have fun as they were concealed in the many masks … Sardinia has always celebrated this holiday that was called the “Animeddas” party, just as it happens in most famous American recurrence, even in the villages of Sardinia are children who ghostly dresses go to ask, door to door, some gifts for the “little souls”.
Also one of the most beloved customs of my land is to prepare a sumptuous dinner on the 31st of October, to set up the table and leave all these nights for the deceased, who would traditionally come to metaphorically. The next day the meal was consumed by the family members and it was shaven to the memory of the deceased extinct; a kind of worship of the ancestors I find very beautiful.
