Alla ricerca di un bambino dagli occhi neri
Amici, quella dei bambini dagli occhi neri è una leggenda che ha iniziato a diffondersi a partire dal 1998 (trovate l’origine del tutto nel mio post “L’origine dei bambini dagli occhi neri“) e, a dire il vero, i sostenitori sono davvero tanti. Vi parlo di questa storia perché nelle mie solite ricerche online mi sono imbattuto in questo articolo piuttosto recente dove gli investigatori paranormali di Manchester Dale Makin e Justin Cowell, della serie TV Paranormal Truth, hanno deciso di mettersi in caccia delle creature del mito nei boschi di Cannock Chase… (Evidentemente non hanno letto il mio articolo sulle origini del mito)
Dalle parole di Dale: “I bambini dagli occhi neri di Cannock Chase sono famosi in tutto il mondo e ci sono stati numerosi avvistamenti. Stiamo progettando di andare a Cannock Chase e usare una tavola Ouija per vedere se possiamo entrare in contatto con questi spiriti.”
Dopo questa dichiarazione è stato sollevato un polverone da chi sostiene la pericolosità di queste pratiche, specie l’utilizzo della celebre tavola spiritica. Secondo alcuni si tratterebbe di creature maligne e pericolosissime, ma io sono a favore di questa ricerca perché solo con essa è possibile sfatare i miti oppure confermarli, anche se in questo caso è già abbastanza chiaro.
Durante questa loro ricerca saranno effettuate molte riprese che andranno poi ad essere usate per un documentario. Partendo dal presupposto che non credo in modo cieco alle trasmissioni televisive, che schiave degli indici d’ascolto devono sempre propinare qualcosa, sono comunque sempre curioso di vedere i risultati… Anche se dalle prime immagini che sono trapelate sono sicuro di sapere a cosa assisteremo.
Speriamo che in futuro si abbandonino le solite pagliacciate e che si inizi a studiare i casi in modo scientifico.

I tell you this story because in my usual online research I came across this rather recent article where the paranormal investigators of Manchester Dale Makin and Justin Cowell, from the TV series Paranormal Truth, have decided to hunt for the creatures of the myth in the woods of Cannock Chase … (Evidently they did not read my article on the origins of the myth)
From Dale’s words: “Cannock Chase’s black-eyed children are famous all over the world and there have been numerous sightings, we are planning to go to Cannock Chase and use an Ouija board to see if we can get in touch with these spirits. ”
After this declaration a fuss was raised by those who support the dangers of these practices, especially the use of the famous board. According to some it would be malignant and dangerous creatures, but strange to say I am in favor of this research because only with it is it possible to dispel the myth or confirm it.
During this research they will be made many shots that will then be used for a documentary. Assuming that I do not think blindly to television broadcasts, slaves of the audience ratings must always offer something, I’m always curious to see the results … Although from the first images that have been leaked I’m sure what we’ll see.
We hope this is not the usual antics, and that we start to study the cases in a scientific way.
