Sant’Antioco: La processione delle anime

Amici ricercatori ecco a voi un’altra favolosa testimonianza dall’Isola di Sant’Antioco; questa volta si tratta di una testimonianza di un lettore che ha vissuto in prima persona, quando era poco più che adolescente, una strana avventura paranormale.

Nel mezzo delle campagne che separano la costa est da quella ovest dell’isola si trovano diversi esempi di fenomeni paranormali e questa ritengo sia una storia piuttosto interessante… Il ragazzo passava di lì tutte le mattine per raggiungere un pezzo di terra di proprietà della famiglia ed una mattina poco prima del sorgere del sole ha assistito ad una vera e propria processione di anime. Si avete capito bene, si tratterebbe di sette entità che sembravano coperte da un velo ed apparivano di colore bianco e traslucido. Il testimone sostiene che ci si poteva vedere attraverso e che nonostante siano sbucate all’improvviso molto vicino a lui non interagirono minimamente come se si trattasse di una sorta di eco del passato.

La processione delle anime descritta non è una novità per chi si occupa di eventi paranormali, anzi va detto che si tratta di un fenomeno piuttosto comune nell’ambito delle apparizioni di questo genere.

La mitologia sarda riporta in diversi casi queste apparizioni e spesso le rappresenta nei eventi folkloristici come ad esempio durante il carnevale. Pensiamo ad esseri come Boes, Merdules, Mamuthones e Issohadores, che vengono sempre rappresentati in gruppi e processioni e la cui origine non è del tutto certa; sembra infatti che abbiano avuto origine nel periodo nuragico e forse rappresentano proprio queste strane comitive di anime che spesso vengono osservate in Sardegna.

Friends researchers here is another fabulous testimony from the Island of Sant’Antioco; this time it is a testimony of a reader who lived in first person, when he was little more than an adolescent, a strange paranormal adventure.

In the middle of the countryside that separates the east coast from the west of the island there are several examples of paranormal phenomena and this I think is a rather interesting story … The boy passed by there every morning to reach a piece of land owned by the family and one morning just before the sunrise witnessed a real procession of souls. Yes, you understood, it would be seven entities that seemed covered by a veil and appeared white and translucent. The witness claims that you could see through and that although they suddenly appeared very close to him did not interact in the slightest as if it were a sort of echo of the past.

The procession of the souls described is not new for those who deal with paranormal events, rather it must be said that it is a rather common phenomenon in the context of apparitions of this kind.

The Sardinian mythology reports in many cases these apparitions and often represents them in folk events such as during carnival. Think of beings like Boes, Merdules, Mamuthones and Issohadores, who are always represented in groups and processions and whose origin is not entirely certain; it seems that they originated in the Nuraghic period and perhaps represent these strange groups of souls that are often observed in Sardinia.
