Amici oggi parleremo di una storia triste che ha lasciato dei segni… Siamo nel Monastero di Santa Radegonda a Milano, oggi ormai diroccato, dove un spirito inquieto vaga senza trovar pace.
Il monastero di Santa Radegonda era assieme all’omonima chiesa un monastero benedettino milanese. Il complesso fu soppresso e parzialmente demolito nel 1781 per far posto alla attuale via Santa Radegonda.
Danneggiato dalle distruzioni delle truppe imperiali del Barbarossa nel 1162, come risarcimento il monastero ricevette una casa e un terreno appartenente al vescovo Galdino della Sala
Il complesso risultò veramente grandioso, con quattro chiostri
Nonostante la struttura sia del tutto allo sfascio sono tante le segnalazioni di questo spirito che tutti descrivono come una Dama Bianca. Analizzando la storia del posto sono risalito ad una storia di adulterio di cui fu colpevole la figlia di Bernabò Visconti.
Bernardina Visconti, questo era il nome della giovane vittima, dopo il matrimonio con un uomo che non amava, iniziò subito a cercare un ragazzo con cui poter essere felice e nel giro di pochi giorni lo trovò. Ma la storia non rimase segreta a lungo come i due giovani speravano. Bernabò accusò di furto il ragazzo, il quale fu costretto a confessare un reato mai commesso sotto tortura e fu impiccato pubblicamente e la punizione di Bernardina non fu da meno, la giovane fu dapprima rinchiusa nel chiostro ed in un secondo tempo uccisa barbaramente…
Secondo la leggenda lo spirito della ragazza vaga senza meta urlando contro il padre assassino cercando una pace che non riuscirà mai a trovare.
