The Hat-Man

Friends that I tell you is a legend that I discovered very recently, it is a human-looking creature (The hunter of souls), which recalls a man dressed in a raincoat and a hat, some described as a cylinder. He appears in the saddest moments of life, seems to taunt the victims before disappearing. There are many testimonies related to his sightings, many of these occurred in Texas and often seems to prefer women as victims.

All meetings are described in the same way; the victim is back from a bad fight or from a misfortune or anyway a victim of a strong emotional stress and moves away from everyone and at this point appears the being, who laughs at her and then disappears into thin air. The sightings are never single, returns to the victim several times and in some cases speaks with a deep voice saying: “We will meet in due course”.

This always happens in the first meetings, and then he openly speaks of wanting something and reiterates: “I will have your soul”. These stories arise from the alleged experiences of some people who are very reluctant to tell everything they have seen and heard, while resembling the arcinote black shadows differs a lot from these for behavior and ferocity.

If on the one hand the black shadows can present only on a visual level and often very simple to remove, this entity would seem very strong and tenacious.

It is clear that, taking all the legend for good, it is a wicked creature dedicated to hitting fragile people in the hope of getting what they crave. This is not something similar to the Devil (as Catholics might think), but something similar to a bounty hunter … There is no name for this creature that I decided to call “Soul Hunter” but in the literature He is known as a man with a hat, “Hat Man”. Few people have had the courage to talk about it and there is very little information about him, because our society tends to label the witnesses of similar facts like crazy and because this creature’s cunning is in hitting fragile and unreliable people.

Representation provided by many witnesses

In 2001, the topic Shadow People, or black shadows if you prefer, was introduced to the public for the first time via the “Coast to Coast AM”, a radio that deals with topics related to the paranormal, and immediately after transmission, many people they have made drawings of what they had seen and shared stories about their own experiences with those entities. The author and paranormal enthusiast Heidi Hollis, noted that there was a recurring description in these drawings and reports, a shadow that did not correspond to the classic black shadows at all but was called “Hat Man”, and people around the world claimed to have met her in terror.

Now we take stock, urban legend or real facts? In fact I am always skeptical about these strange testimonies, and yet his legend is very widespread, I would like to have your opinion, because never as in this case I think it is wrong to relegate it to legend without further discussion.
