Oggi è soggetto a studi approfonditi e trivellazioni perché sorgente d’acque calde sfruttabili come fonte geotermica.

Barumini: The remains of Atlantis

Dear reader for several years now we hear talk of an interesting theory about which the mythical continent of Atlantis was actually the well known Sardinia. The theory initially almost airy has gained validity over the years thanks to new discoveries and above all to the contribution of some accredited scholars. There are many tests that are before our eyes starting from the description that the cities of Atlantis are made in remote times; a typical Atlantean town is described in circular form, with stone towers in the center of the same, exactly coinciding with the remains of Sardinian nuragic cities (take a look at the photo of the citadel of Barumini framed from above). We also know from the writings of Plato that the Atlantean civilization was swept away by a cataclysm compatible with what we call Tsunami and here we find another interesting coincidence, the ruins of most of the nuragic citadels were found buried by earth and various sediments, making think of a flood of biblical proportions. Many studies
yes, like the journalist Sergio Frau, reducing the potential of the Greek naval technique, they recognize the Columns of Hercules in the Strait of Sicily, and Atlantis and Tartessus in Sardinia, also a very rich land.
Among other things in Nora (archaeological area in the municipality of Pula in the province of Cagliari) was found a stele that shows the oldest epigraph that citi Tartess. What could have created such an important tsunami in the area under consideration then? It will amaze you and perhaps you did not know that between Sicily and Sardinia there is a submarine volcano, the Marsili, of considerable size that could also today create the conditions for such an event, moreover another volcano, the Quirino, of smaller dimensions is found extremely close to the Sardinian coasts, about 30 km from the coast of Capo Sperone, a place where you can appreciate the typical dark color of volcanic rocks.

Maurizio Solinas about Quirino and Marsili: “Costui (Il Quirino) occasionally disturbs the dreams of the Carlofortini and Santantiochensi with some slight earthquake being located about thirty kilometers south of Capo Sperone. the brothers of Marsili which is the largest as an extension but a few tens of meters lower than Etna (3343 meters), was born in the Tyrrhenian fossa and reaches 400 meters from the sea, less than the length of Via Roma in Cagliari, It is said to be even a little higher, and today it is subject to extensive studies and drilling because it is a source of hot water that can be exploited as a geothermal source. It is known that its cone has very steep walls that could slip generating a tidal wave, I like to call it so because I’m Italian, to call oneself someone calls him “tsunami” or is an esterophile or does not know his mother tongue. ”

So there are all the right clues and if we consider that the ProtoSardi were a people of sailors and explorers we put an additional card to this rather interesting mosaic … I propose a video of the remains of the citadel of Barumini, a place worth visiting regardless of these theories. In support of the thesis I propose the images made by a reader (Roby Lilliu) who depict marine fossils found near the Nuragic citadel of Barumini.
